SOMETHING TO BRIGHTEN A WINTER'S DAY

Hi all,

We made this card on Wednesday at my weekly class. It is such a nice cheery card.

I used Summer Sun and Basic Black for the colors. I also used A Beautiful Thing stamp set. I bought this set quite some time ago and have not used it for ages!!!! It was so nice to brea it out. as well as using the flower image in the middle of the card I stamped the flower image all over the Summer Sun pieces too.
The flower is made using the Scallop Circle punch. You punch the DSP (Good Morning Sunshine here) out and then cut them in half and make them into cones. Then you arrange the cones into the flower shape and then your done!!
So simple yet so effective!!!
Thanks for looking.

MOJO MONDAY SKETCH

Hi there,
I promised myself today that I would blog and what better way to do it than to do a Mojo Monday sketch?
I have been busy lately looking after my 6yr old daughter who has just had her tonsils removed and she has been qutie time consuming. My husband is home today so I thought I would duck into my office and quickly whip something up.
So here it is:
I have used the Live Like You Mean It and the Petal Pizzazz Set. Both are very cool sets to use. The Live You Mean It set is one of the new level 1 hostess sets.
The colors used are Almost Amethyst, Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink and Basic Gray. The Designer Paper is the new Tea Party paper and I have also used the Soft Subtles brads for the middle of the flowers.
I think that the colors work really well for this card, what do you think?
Have a good day!!

I'VE GOT MAIL!!

I thought I would show you some of my mail!!! It really brought home to me that getting something in the mail (other than bills of course) is such a thrill. No matter what it is, if it is a card letting someone know that you are thinking of them or a little gift to make someone's day it is bound to make someone smile!!

This pressie was sent to me by one of my teammates Michelle. Isn't it so cute? Michelle used the Good Egg set and then coloured in the chicken with markers.

Thanks for the pressie Michelle it's very cool.

What I've been up to.

Hi everyone,

Thought I had better blog because I haven't been on for a wee while. Life has been very busy as always!!

Anyway here is just some of the things that I have been up to:

This card is a triangle fold card. It's very cute!! I made this one using Pretty in Pink, Pixie Pink and Chocolate Chip card. I used Berry Bliss Designer Paper and a little bit of Dazzling Diamonds for a bit of sparkle. The stamps used are from the Priceless set and the Sincere Salutations set.
This is my second card:

It was made using the Live the Dream stamp set which is in the current mini catalogue and using Pumpkin pie, Old Olive and Basic Black as the colors.
Don't forget that the mini catalogue is due to expire on the 31st of March and so is the main catalogue. Of course a new main catalogue is releasing on the 1st of April (YAY!!!). There is so much cool stuff in the new catalogue so if you would like to pre order a catalogue now contact me now.
Bye for now

Can't really say that I think too much of the card but you know, someone will probably like it!!

The papers I used wes retired paper that I had around the place and the stamp sets were Baroque Motifs and the Wonderful Words. Inks used were Chocolate Chip and Wild Wasabi.
