Mojo Monday Challenge 74

Here's my latest challenge. I tried a new challenge this time and had alot of fun doing it. It is soooo totally different from what I had first thoguht of!!! At first I was going to make a card but when that just didn't come together I sat back and looked at it again. Then the thought came to me that it would work really well as a scrapbook page. And this is what I came up with.

This uses the Secret Garden Scrappin' Kit and once again this makes scrapping a breeze. As soon as I looked at the cardstock and papers I knew exactly what photo I had to scrap.
Hope you like it.

KWERNER COLOR INSPIRATION CHALLENGE

Hi again,

Just a quick post to show you my K Werner Color Challenge entry.

This weeks colors were More Mustard, Really Rust, Kiwi Kiss (I substituted for Old Olive) and Whisper White. I found this a really nice combo to use.
The stamps used was the Baroque Motifs set which is such a versatile set. Also this set is one of the sets that Stampin' Up! have for their Bushfire Appeal. So if you buy this set Stampin' Up will donate half of the price to the Australian Bushfire Appeal. Very cool. Contact me if you would like to buy a set.
Catch you soon.

SPINNER CARDS

Hi All,

This past Wednesday I had a class for Spinner cards. These are ultra cool cards that the kids especially love. My two kids want to learn how to make them because they think they are so cool. Anyway here are the pics of them:

This card was made in Going Gray, Pixie Pink, Green Galore and Almost Amythest. In this particular card the butterfly actually flys around the flowers in an arc, very cool!!!

This card was mad in Close to Cocoa, Whisper White and just a touch of Ruby Red. And on this card the heart spins from side to side.

I had a lot of fun making both the cards and I think that the ladies that come to my class really enjoyed making them to.

Let me know what you think.

STAMP HAPPY CHALLENGE

Wow!! Two challenges in one day. I have been very lucky in the fact that it has been a long weekend here in NZ and I have been able to spend alot of time creating.

I found this sketch on my upline Jacque's website http://www.stamphappy.typepad.com/. You should check out her site she makes such awesome stuff!!

Anyway here is my interpretation of the sketch:

I thought that with Valentines Day coming up it would be cool to finally scrap some of our wedding photos. We were only married 8 years ago but hey, at least it's being done now!!
I used the Secret Garden Simply Scrappin' Kit. These kits are so awesome because they have basically everything to make cards and scrapbook pages and then some.
Let me know what you think.

BUCLKE CARD

Here's my latest card. Not that fancy but I like it.

It is made using Brilliant Blue, Whisper White and Basic Gray. It uses the Bud Basics stamp set which has to be my all time favourite set. Normally this is a two step stampin' set but with this card I have just used the outline stamps.

Let me know what you think.

LIVE YOUR DREAM!!

I just made this card and I completely love it!!! The Live your Dream stamp set is fast becoming one of my favourites!!!

This is such a cool card because of the fold that it uses. It has two flaps that open out to the middle of the card rather than the traditional opening that you would normally have.

To add color to the card I have used Stampin' Pastels and a cotton bud, so easy but yet so effective. The colours used are Not Quite Navy, Soft Sky, Whisper White, Close to Cocoa and just a touch of Old Olive.

The stamp set used is the Live the Dream set and is found in Stampin' Up's mini catalogue. It's such a versatile set.

Thanks for visting

Kirsty
